This is a FREE zoomable navigation where you can drill down to other levels with a zoom in and zoom out effect. The idea is not my own but inspired by velvetrevolver.com and the artwork is some images from google, some photoshop work and some imagination. Anyway, I have made it such, that you can add and remove panels easily.
To create your artwork, I'll suggest that you design the last panel as a 400x400 image. For second last panel, paste the last panel in a blank 400x400 image and scale it down to 20% and centralize it. Then make your artwork around it. Repeat the same step over and over till you reach the first panel.

I (also) have problems with a preloader, it has to load a while (to long, about 90 percent of the total bytes) before the preloader shows up. I hope anyone has found out how to solve this problem.
I see a working preloader in the version (named "420.swf") on http://www.19.5degs.com, but in the downloadable flash version there is no preloader. So it must be possible!
