I was Born in a small town in the Northeast of England, to a close-knit working class family. I had a very fulfilling childhood but knew I was destined to leave that small town. In my teens I traveled to many European Countries. Head strong and independent I often traveled alone.

At the age of 18, my mom entered me into a Calendar Girl Competition. I had wanted to be a teacher and was training to do so and never considered aspirations of modeling. Although I was unsure, I went ahead with the competition. I came in first place and won the competition even though my number was the unlucky #13! I had my first taste of the lime light and wanted more. After being taken on by a modeling agency and doing many modeling jobs advertising T-Shirts and beer commercials, I decided to move to London. Not having the typical model physique, my career headed towards topless modeling. After a friend told me about her experience modeling in Los Angeles, I was on a mission to head to the States. I landed in NYC and met some people in the Adult Industry. They lived in Los Angeles and they invited me out there to stay with them. Hungry for new adventures in life, I accepted their offer and headed for Hollywood.

I spent over a year modeling for Men's I magazines before I took the plunge into the Adult Movie Business. I dabbled here and there in some scene's from movie to movie not committing myself. It wasn't until I did a movie with Henry Pachard and Patti Rhodes that I became hooked. It was called "Female Persuasion". It was released then by Soho Video. I worked with Randy West, my first "on camera" guy. It was great! I discovered I loved to perform on camera, be and I loved to act. I now have over 350 movies to my credit and still do a new movie every month for my very own movie company Taylor Wane Entertainment. I am not just a figure head, i actually own and operate the company myself.

My first AVN cover a movie I starred in with Sondra Scream for VCA pictures was in 1991. I also won an AVN award that same year for "Best Group Sex Scene Of The Year" in The X Factor and I've been multi-nominated over the years for several different AVN awards, including Best Actress. I will be Inducted in to the AVN Hall Of Fame this coming January (2005). One of my many nominations included a fetish movie called Dirty Deeds which was directed by me and was nominated for "Best Big Boob feature" in Jan 1999.

I was the first well known Adult Star to earn the Title of Penthouse Pet and Penthouse Cover Girl and the first to break Bob Guccione's rule that his Pets could not be Porn Stars. It paved the way for a few Vivid Girls who later claimed the title as well.

Since then, I have been pre-nominated and nominated for a plethora of movies and stand nominated for a few of my own productions such as Catfight Club Part 1 and Part 2, Voluptuous Vixens 1, and Interactive Sex with Nurse Taylor Wane. "Interactive Sex With Nurse Taylor Wane" is the first fetish interactive introduced into the adult arena and is followed by The Interactive French Maid and "The Interactive Secretary". All will be simultaneously released as an Interactive Trilogy in special collector's pack. Another first for the adult business.  

The first movie I ever directed was for Arrow film and Video around 1991 called TAYLOR WANE'S WORLD. I was amazed that as late as 2003 when I danced for Kid Rock at the Universal Amphitheater that fans were in his audience going through the "I'm Not Worthy" motions in remembrance of my first directorial debut as they yelled my name and threw dollar bills on stage. This is where I got to meet my favorite glamour girl

Pamela Anderson. She was very sweet and complimented me on my dancing.

I have had the distinct honor of being photographed by the Famed 'Guess Jeans' Photographer Ellen Von Unwerth for one of the many interviews and articles published on me in British tabloids and women's magazines such as The Independent, The Daily Sport, Best, The Sun, The Star, The News of the World, to name a few.

I have appeared in hundreds of centerfold spreads between the years of 1989 until the present date. My Magazine career has spanned 13 years so far and going strong.

I have over 100 magazine covers and Pictorials world wide including Penthouse USA and Penthouse UK.

I toured the whole USA as a feature dancer and entertainer in many of the finest gentlemen's clubs in the country for over 8 years. Here is a show pass from one of my gigs at HI -10 cabaret in Phoenix, Arizona.
I am lucky to be one of the few Adult Stars to have crossed over to "Main Stream" with a re-occuring, costarring role, as a sorcerous in a kids show called CyberKidz. The show aired everywhere through out the world except the USA.

I have also been seen on Jerry Springer, 48 hours, 60 minutes, The History Channel, The E Channel-Sex On The Riviera and Jenny Jones. I had a spot an Aaron Spelling pilot called "Odd Jobs'.  

On the literary side of things, I am writing erotic columns for 'Lips', Leg Pleasure and XXX Erotic Film Guide available on the newsstands as well as a column for www.avninsider.com You can catch a feature on me wrote in a new journal of the adult industry called 'Porn Star'. It was written by Ian Gittler and released by Simon and Shuster. I also wrote erotic columns every month for Swank magazine for over 5 years! I had to do a lot of fucking to come up with all those stories! Not that I'm complaining!

I have new photo layouts coming out all the time and Taylor Wane Entertainment is on it's 16th release to date including the very successful and sought after Fetish Interactives. When I am not doing movies and being photographed for men's magazines, I also shoot photography. I occasionally shoot girls for men's magazines as well as for my site. Of course, I am my own web-master and spend many hours updating, scanning and sending more photos to my site.
