Hurry Up And Wait Reviews

Cool Pop Punk
I had never heard Riddlin Kids until about two days ago when I heard their single, "I Feel Fine". I really liked it and decided to go buy their CD, "Hurry Up & Wait". I've only listened to it about one time through but overall it's really good. Some of these songs are ones that you'll want to listen to over and over but others aren't as great. I only gave this CD four stars because of these songs that you probably won't want to listen to as much. But if you like pop punk and want to check out a new band you definetley shouldn't hesitate to purchase this CD. Some of the highlights of the disk are their single "I Feel Fine" which is a really catchy, fun song and their great cover of REM's song "It's the End of the World As We Know It". Overall, fans of pop punk should be really happy.

Not a bad pop punk album
If you like blink 182 and new found glory you will like this CD also. I personally dont like how the front man in NFG sounds so i dont like them but the Riddlin Kids are good. Nothing really speical but still i listen to it all the time. i first heard them on the bonus CD from the Orange County Soundtrack (that CD trocks). Thier sing I feel fine is one of my favorite... I always buy the CDs before the band is popular.
Bottom line do you love pop punk Blink 182 and NFG style? if yes you will like this.

Always an RK Fan
I didn't even know about Riddlin' Kids until I went to Florida. After I saw them in concert, I realized how much they really rocked. They have their own style, and they're all very nice and great guys. The album has tons of good songs on it like, "I feel fine", "Crazy", "See The Light" and "Nowhere to run". There's also Clint's "It's the end of the world as we know it" remake, which is an awesome song done by him too. Definitely an awesome album for buying!!!!

Pretty damn good for a Texas punk band
Let me start by saying I don't usually like the hardcore, in-your-face, yelling in my ear type stuff, so those kinds of fans would probably be unimpressed with this album. This is more or less pop-punk, but since many pop-punk bands are lyrically fruitless bubble gum machine musicians, the Riddlin Kids don't necessarily fall into the same category. Hurry Up and Wait has much the same appeal as Blink 182's Dude Ranch or Allister's Songs From Suburbia (all great from start to finish); lots of relationship stuff, driving rhythms & power chords, decent lyrics & attitude, good solid listening. Admittedly this album is not a very diverse effort, but each song is distinguishable enough not to be labeled as filler and no single song is unlistenable. "I Feel Fine" is probably what most people will recognize as the radio hit with a funny music video, and stands out a bit from the rest of the CD. This band's songs are the kind that don't seem to tire easily, and hopefully they'll come out with another album soon! The Riddlin Kids are Austin, TX rockers that have what it takes to get you hooked!

Catchy and fun
Riddlin' Kids are a catchy, poppy/punk group who seem to just want to have fun, and they get that done with this album. Fans of Blink 182 (before their self-titled latest album) will enjoy Hurry Up & Wait. If you get a chance, watch the video for "I Feel Fine". Funny stuff...give it a listen.
Sharing Blink 182's prepubescent charm and Pennywise's atomic power chords, the former pizza delivery boys who go by the name of Riddlin' Kids have practically stumbled onto a gold mine. It helps that venom-spewing songs such as "Crazy" and "I Feel Fine" come replete with torrential riffs and blinding choruses along the lines of "She knocked me on my ass again, but I don't mind/ Looks like I'm alone again and I feel fine." Any self-respecting teen could get with that. Produced by Paul Ebersold (3 Doors Down) at Ardent Studios in Memphis, Hurry Up and Wait proves that no matter how hectic things get, there's always room for one more on the short bus. --Aidin Vaziri
